Lacrosse Camp and Tournament


Join us for a three-day free lacrosse camp and mini-tournament specifically designed for the First Nation youth of Vancouver Island. This event is an excellent opportunity to learn the game of lacrosse, understand its Indigenous origins, and participate in a high-energy environment filled with cultural activities, BBQ, music, prizes, and lots of lacrosse.


Date: July 5-7

Where: Snuneymuxw First Nation

Cost: Free for Native Youth of ALL AGES!

Time: Friday -Saturday, 11 am-4 pm, Sunday, 11:30 am-6:00 pm, 7:00 pm Timberman Game.


Pacific Northwest Native Lacrosse (PNW Native Lax) is dedicated to increasing the participation of Native youth in lacrosse, a historically Indigenous game. Our mission is to create opportunities for Native youth to connect with their heritage, develop their skills, and foster a sense of community through lacrosse.

  • Recap and Reinforcement of Skills

  • Advanced Lacrosse Techniques

  • Cultural Activities

  • Mini 3 v 3 Games

  • Culture Moment and Wrap Up


Day 3: Sunday, July 7

  • Welcome & Overview

  • BBQ

  • 3 on 3 Tournament

  • Championship Game

  • Award Ceremony & Group Photos

  • Meet NDLA & KL Foundation to Break Down Barriers

  • Lacrosse Water Balloon Fight + Fun Activities

  • Clean Up + Prepare for Timberman Game

  • Timberman vs Thunder Game
